the reason people can't understand the complexity of opposing both zionism and anti-semitism, or correctly understanding lateral issues like homophobia in poc communities is because their outlooks are basically racist/fetishistic, they only have a superficial performative understanding of privileged and oppression ( one actively weaponized by reactionary propaganda ) which is all just a series of rhetorical manuevers to make sure people in power have clean hands, like after the cops kill a black kid and they have the 1 black sergeant give the press conference. It's all so many forms of tokenism that ultimately serves the power structure and is totally useless or dangerous after a certain point as it's an active weapon of oppression. But on a deeper level there's an implicit racism / prejudicial worldview that reduces people to mere categories rather than fleshed out human beings who are capable of both good and bad, people that can be empathized with and understood. It's a kind of reification of social distance than just reproduces these contingent historical categories as eternal
