@0x4d6165 fuck my whole comment i just wrote got deleted. anyway i know you already know this but i think it merits saying cuz its a thought i have every time i hear this thing about parents should be responsible for controlling what kids see not the gov: parents should be thoughtful but not absolutely in control of everything their kid gets introduced to. parents can obviously overdo this, even with positive intent. definitely i think its better that parents do this on their own than enforce it on all minors. but like we gotta also address how individual parents can censor their kids access to important information, or even useless garbage information, or even porn, in a way that sets those kids up for other bad situations. we have such a media literacy crisis. kids (and adults, lmao) desperately need modern internet literacy classes. fuck. i hope u get what im getting at here tho: yes its a parents responsibility to moderate media/internet access but that can be its own problem

Hey guys I’m sympathetic to what HP is presenting here. That said, I’m curious about what pro (self defense with) gun leftists/anarchists would propose to mitigate mass shooting incidents, which are now a near daily occurrence. Obviously a lot of systemic issues are at play here, it’s hard to know where to start.
@0x4d6165 its occurred to me that this would be pretty onerous if you have a ton of tags. I imagine you would have to block [trans, transgender, gender, insert slurs here] etc to effectively block all content that might be transphobic. so how about this: could you make groups of tags (in an array?? maybe?? idk lol) and then enable/disable by group??

okay here's a real idea: could you make it so there's an option to check on filtered content, but you first choose which filters to enable viewing of? ie politics, queerphobia, racism etc whatever the tags are you have a pop up that shows them all unchecked first, then toggle/check box the ones you want, then view. so you don't default to all filtered content at once, if you're not up for checking on all types of it
