Anyone else feel like the culture of hating JavaScript among some hackers feels idk kinda gendered? Web dev especially front end dev has been discredited as "less real" than other types of programming and is portrayed in a way that feels almost misogynistic. I'm not saying hating JavaScript is misogynistic, but I am saying that the circle jerk of hating JavaScript and anything front end leaves a bad taste in my mouth
