Fascinating times digging into the Dolphin Emulator blog and their various dives into making every Gamecube and Wii game run on it

“The important part to note about this is that True Crime: New York City divides by zero a lot. As in, every single time you step on a dynamic object, these divide by zeroes flood the physics engine to the point where we had to assume there was something wrong with Dolphin's emulation of a CPU instruction. We never actually considered that the game engine was doing all of this on purpose... yet, we now know that is indeed the case.”
