@0x4d6165 reminded yet again euros demonstrating why everyone in the world calls them trashas someone who has left because even after doing everything legally for many years, all the time and money I spent trying to get a visa for my partner means nothing now because of trump -- this is so offensive. Europeans thing immigration is easy, because they're EU citizens and for them it is, for anyone trying to enter Europe, it is not at all easy.
it is extremly difficult to immigrate anywhere legally if you don't have a highly skilled trade and credentials to back it up + an employer willing to sponsor you... or are able to marry someone whose a citizen. That's what I'm doing, and even that costs a lot of money, I had to return to the US multiple times to get the appropriate documents stamped. If all goes well I will have a legal status and zero money.
