@LukefromDC @violetmadder @benda @AnarchoNinaAnalyzeswell the US and Russia are not officially allies yet despite the pee tape, Trump has continued to arm ukraine, there are structural factors at play bigger than trump which has resulted in a very ambivalent stance on the russia/ukraine war -- the India/Pakistan shit is another thing that could go off the rails, whether China gets dragged into it changes a lot ( tho they probably wouldn't unless attacked ) and beyond that there's so much uncertainty as to where the alliances would land, and if Syria teaches us anything, inter-imperialist wars can operate in such a chaotic way that one country is allied with another country in one theatre of war while being opponents in another.
