@b9AcE i cannot say for certain, obvs, my informatoin is very scattered and hard to verify, and i'm overstating it, sure HTS didn't directly coodinate it probably, i listened to an interview with a Syrian on Popular Front where he says basically it was a mass pogram that spread by clerics aligned with HTS and he claimes they were directly arming them, tho likely much of what he said were rumour, from a community many of which are Baathists/SAA and so make shit up but it also makes sense, and look at how HTS acts in the north basically forming the rear guard of SNA, against kurdish regions, they are working together but maintain this plausible deniability, that's their whole MO, and letting the psychos go on a killing spree is part of maintaining cohesion, and they're basically consolidating power and having a lot of these smaller ISIS linked factions kiss the ring, the current governmnent needs to maintian alliances with all thse small militant groups, many of which are quite unhinged, which a over decade of civil war will do to a man
