It so cool to see the variations in leaf morphology (I presume related to water and nutrient availability in the soil) so close to each other. The ones in the shade of a shrub have large lush leaves, while the one in the compacted lawn right next to it has very thin leaves. Also, the lush ones are much more upright, while the stressed ones are flatly compact to the ground. Notice the purple coloring too, this looks like a temperature stress response.
