so I found a US based manufacturer to buy n95s direct from. because I think its useful to try to buy things that are made as locally as possible (less transport emissions etc), and because I'm making an effort to buy things not from Amazon or chain stores etc as much as possible. shop.shawmutcorp.com/collections/frontpage/products/n95-mask-made-in-usa
that^ is the place I bought from. the masks are sturdy and comfortable. my gripe is that they are like 3d face shaped, and dont fold flat. so not quite so convenient for travel. also, they have the around the head straps rather than ear straps, which is also less convenient for travel (i am often rushing to put my mask on one handed while i get on a bus). Both of these are obvious from the website listing, I just wasn't really paying attention. It was $20 including shipping for a box of 20, so I think its a good deal. go forth and don't get
or anything else yall
