yeah no, if you can afford it and are mentally and physically able to do so responsibly you should buy a gun, even if gun control passed (unlikely) it would be easy to get around, it also wouldn't do anything about the current state of arms proliferation, the right wing militias still have millions of guns ( it's not like guns just expire )
