@luca @svenja so they do have a system of reports and take downs? I would hope so at the very least because CSAM could easily get their servers seized by the feds -- especially with the owner of twitter in the whitehouse lmao -- still i'm hearing a lot of things about far right extremists, racists and such operating basically in the open with no moderation action being taken, or even setting up deceptive libelers to harass trans and other marginalized people. Seems they're gonna learn about "the paradox of tolerance" the hard way.

The city metaphor is basically how the fediverse operates, personally, i think a lot of fedi is overly strict in their moderation approach ( people shouldn't be fediblocked for sharing an edgy meme, that just pushes people into arms of the extreme right ) but go too far in other direction and you have a nazi bar.
