yes that's all well and good but...but what if the god or gods of this world are actually evil and sow discord among humanity just for the lulz?
i mean, assuming there is a God or Gods or whatever higher order sentient beings we are subject to, what evidence is there that the God(s) of this world are good or caring or have any use for human morality? Should we deduce this from living nature where every living thing must constantly anihilate other living things to survive? ( with the exception of mushrooms, they're chill )
