@bcham i don't strictly disagree with you about these documents contributing to an ideological grand narrative
but syncretism is kind of a universal cultural phenomena, it's a function of human cognition to integrate disparate and even contradictory ideas into a coherent unity, christianity historically are highly syncretic, punk rock and hip-hop are syncretic musical genres, anarchism as it draws from numerous disparate anti-authoritarian strains of thought is also highly syncretic... you could say maybe there is a specifically fascist kind of syncretism that folds eclectic ideas into an authoritarian umbrella, but i don't think syncretism as such is inherently fascist
