kinda janky and very bulky, but it works
maybe I can get an armband that encloses the entire phone instead of holding it like this
a pixel 3a (black phone) strapped to a rubber... holding thing that slots into a wrist strap. on the phone's screen is the current time and date, the phone's battery percentage, a screen lock toggle and an autonomy toggle.
