@HeavenlyPossum honestly i think it's a little bit too convenient ( maybe even a cop-out 🤣 ) tto say anyone who goes tankie was "never really an anarchist", i've seen a lot of people go from anarchist to tankie, it has to do with complex social and psycological processes, it also has to do with how well they judge anarchism to serve them in their political goals -- sure maybe they didn't have a deep understanding of anarchist theory, or maybe they did and decided they just didn't agree with it

personally i don't like the term 'ego-com" and it seems like a certain kind of meme ideology, like anarchism always mixes communism and individualism to a certain degree, if Emma Goldman was obvs an ego-com, well it's not anything special or new it's just *anarchism", and people attracted to such meme ideologies tend to be very impressionable, and the meat grinder of online debate culture doesn't help

also, dbzero is itself a very strange project politically, started by some creepy AI art firm with ties to nivenly, so beware of taking their side against hexbear, these are 2 astroturfed psuedo radical spaces generated drama so as to datamine leftists, probably
