I love how, back in the 80s when hong kong had to be handed over to the PRC because the brits thought 99 years was as good as forever, people said "50 years was as good as forever"*I love how myopic humans are /s
*not that they could do much about it, the PRC's army was next door; also we barely made it to 25 anyway
