so I broke something (... by accident) and spent a whole day designing and 3D printing a replacement part
it was way too time consuming and the thing still doesn't fit well, but it works now and it's the first time I actually used my 3D printer for anything serious, so that was cool
(I tried searching on thingiverse and printables and I couldn't find a model of the thing I needed)
