@trans_caracal holy shit, bruh, keynesian economics is foundational to the Post WWII order, i.e. the relationship between capitalism and the state today, it's shaped state policies for almost a century and is a decent emperical basis as far as economics goes ( compare to neoclassical psuedo science ) the general theory is also not incompatable with marxian economics, ( see post-keynesianism) some argue marx anticipates keynes at least in terms of business cycles, effective demand etc.
