There's no "going back" to neoliberalism. It has objectively failed. To end fascism, we need anarchy and communism. I'm not just saying that because that's my belief system, that's my belief system because it's become more and more apparent to me that's literally the only way out. Trying to restore the neoliberal empire will at best postpone fascism. There is no future for neoliberalism.
I wish there was a language that was minimalist and performant like Go but a teeny bit more expressive. Not like typescript or python level but slightly more. Basically i want .map() and such

@SuperDicq @sodiboo well for one it enables a lot of what we take for granted on the modern Internet like partial page updates and full web apps. I also think the anti JavaScript circle jerk is annoying but maybe I'm just a butthurt webdev.
Also despite my complaints about it, typescript is a legitimately awesome language. It's so expressive! It also runs so many different places
I'm gonna start using JavaScript more just to spite the people who go on web dev posts and whine about how they have to adjust their noscript settings to use it. If you use noscript in 2025 you're responsible for unbreaking things not random unpaid web devs
