for many years it consdiered its time online "escapism" and its time offline "being its true self" but it has realized that it was very wrong
the time it spends online is time that it spends as its true self because it doesnt have to mask, versus doing things in the real physical world requires masking at least to some degree
kind of weird to realize that i had it all the wrong way around for so long
