this one really does not understand the appeal of "gamery" PC accessories, cases, etc

the pretty lighting is kind of nice in moderation but usually the weird sharp angles, huge cases and excessive amounts of RGB lighting really do not do it for this one and as such it has looked into a fractal node case

it's partner was looking into helping it find components to build a new PC, as it's current setup has been through a lot (being a walmart prebuilt gaming PC, power surge at least once before this one bought a proper surge protector/UPS, near-total rebuild)

this one wasnt confident enough in it's ability to build a PC before, but after having to replace the motherboard and power supply, as well as installing two new storage devices, the only original components in this PC are an SSD, the GPU, CPU, and case

the CPU and GPU are currently the weak points, as they are from before the power surge, because this one was too poor to replace those components and they have retained most of their functionality, though not flawlessly
