fascism @trans_caracal yeah that is the thing with fascists is that they just end up killing each other ( along with everyone between them ) and end up destroying the entire order they've struggle to create, tho personally prefer to skip all that.
@renere they're a great band, they went thru long country/folk era, but also did stuff that's more shoegaze/post-punk like Methadrone or My Bloody Underground
there's also a very well made but rather unflattering/biased documentary about them called Dig! which is worth a watch.
@mattblaze seems like a lot of Israeli operations are aimed at showing off their technical abilities, like that hit that pulled in Iran a month or to ago, above and beyond whatever is actually achieved
@cryptadamist the low key implication here is that Iran wants the Dems to win, which is an awkward fact
I also like how it's totally okay for every other country or vested financial interest on the planet to influence US elections, just not Iran, Russia, China etc.
@JoYo it is interesting how they do all that exposition but also just assume that you already know a lot of things... it does get better a few episodes in imo
racism, fedidrama@gil thanks, yeah, it's a bad take, they seem just assume anyone talking about racism on fedi has some anti trans ulterior motive -- even if some people do that, it's dangerous to just assume that and no evidence the op is doing that.
As an aside, i think their discussion of reply controls is technically incorrect but that's a minor issue
