@philpem that does make a lot of sense, would say tho that a lot of 'cults' are low control, with more mushy doctrines, and even with what might appear a high control situation there is often much more give and take between leaders and followers than is often assumed, especially with the old debunked 'brainwashing' mode, i guess you'd just call them heterodox sects or something
this is absolute, the israelis started assaulting random people they saw as Arabs, burning Palestinian flags, when these arabs and other white dutch people defended themselves against these racist attacks, the Israelis cried about being attacked themselves
bluesky suiso possum.city is down, i think #bluesky ddossed us for exposing their grift, just kno that i am not suicidal at this particularly moment, i probably will be later, since i am suicidal on the daily since childhood, and i might just off myself after planting red heirings that point to bluesky assassinating me, as a bit, but tl:dr i am not suicidal and so if I die, ever, if i ever die, it was #bluesky
very much more nsfw uspol@Sterophonick i wouldn't mind owning (being in a consensual relationship with) boy ( young adult men) sex slaves (subs whomst i dom) but something tells me that's not what that guy meant
this is clearly either satire or AI generated gibberish, can you site these 11 papers... or even 1 that shows environmental benefits of bitcoin mining? Like how? it's not even profitable to mine bitcoin anymore without an entire data center lmao
With any language you have to pick how you're going to suffer, php has a bad reputation for things like conflicts between older and newer versions, or security vulns that aren't really an issue anymore if you just write everything in php8 and follow best practices -- the benefits of php is that it's easy to write and modify because it's designed primarily for webdev and so most common webapp stuff can be written with very few lines of code using built-in functions - but to each their own
@kopper@julia@puzzler yeah you need to properly configure the php-fpm process with nginx/apache or whatever, which certainly can be a headache, but it's also not that hard if you, uh, read the docs ... and lots of shared hosting environments already have php set up for you so can just drop some php files in your webroot and boom
as to the lineage, I'm not exactly sure, they do have similar front-ends (which look horrendous ngl) looking it up now apparrently both Friendica and Hubzilla were created by the same dude github.com/friendica/friendica/issues/2894
So the two are similar but different functionality, friendica is a general purpose * instance with GNu/Social AP and Diasp support. With hubzilla activitypub or diasp are both totally optional, you can just use Zot by itself, but that's a tiny userbase lol, zot does solve many of the issues that AT claims to solve, in terms of access control, nomadic identity and more, but Zot as separate from Hubzilla is poorly documented sadly... ( no reason one couldn't implement zot in a different language either, it's a json based protocol )
also, it's a big reach to say most Russians support the war, considering how the Russian army is made up of conscripts who are constantly deserting/revolting, perhaps they're indifferent, because they live under cyber fascism and there's basically nothing they can do about it
