@SiteRelEnby @jerry I've done this before the flipper zero even was a thing by hiding a dongle for a wireless USB keyboard and by "borrowing" a projector remote from a nearby classroom, it's not exactly a new thing

tbf they only throw you into the deep end in 2nd-year systems/algorithms classes, but they do it without any warning

also making you learn C++ in 1-2 weeks (algos course, systems course walks you through C slowly)

(but the algos class is offered first in the summer, so I suppose the CS department thinks you should learn C++ in 1-2 weeks first, then spend a whole semester learning C, which totally makes sense I'm sure)

once again wondering how much more confusing CS classes would be if I didn't know about file structures, the terminal, etc. already

like what happens if someone who has ever only used ipads and chromebooks walks into an intro to programming class
