71 S now that I have my documentation in markdown I'm tempted to rewrite the whole thing in sveltekit

it's something I'm already familiar with (and like) and gives me the most flexibility, but it seems to be a bit overkill

v0.10.1 71 C so whenever I watch a youtuber use a web browser, they almost never do it with an ad blocker and it hurts to look at
Q is it because:
A. they don't want to set an example of blocking ads, so that they can earn ad revenue from their viewers
B. google has some policy against showing their use
C. ad blockers aren't as popular as I assume
D. they can somehow tolerate ads
E. something else

71 S my 65% keyboard not having a backtick key is driving me slightly crazy
if this keyboard was reprogrammable I would've replaced caps with esc and esc with backtick long ago, but unfortunately it isn't
also low profile key switches are surprisingly tolerable

sexism? v0.10.1 71 S products marketed for men continue to be the funniest things in existence
like wdym you're so insecure that you can't use a product unless it actively insults someone else and/or is actively worse than alternatives

v0.10.0 71 S I redid my website in MkDocs
F I think it's at least somewhat worse at being a website but it's less painful to write
S hopefully I can resolve this with a custom theme

v0.9.2 71 C I'm thinking of redoing the status codes (e.g. t?) -
Q Should I keep them as separate things or should I incorporate them into the number?
F I feel like the former would be more readable and the latter would be cooler - though I'm not sure how much readability matters if I always include translations with them anyway?

LLMs / AI v0.9.2 27 S I mean, in a way, text is already a lossy encoding for ideas, but at least it's one you can have fun with

LLMs / AI v0.9.2 71 C Imagine that someone puts a prompt into a LLM, it generates some text, which is then only read by another LLM and summarized

Q does it really matter then, that the text is completely unreadable by anyone who isn't an LLM? will people even notice?
Q Is formal / long-form writing going to become some sort of weird lossy encoding for LLMs and LLM prompts?

Q I wonder when LLM users will start just sending LLM prompts to each other

27 S hears of higher category theory
do NOT expose mathematicians to a number that can go up, because they instinctively have to try to take it to infinity and generalize it
