Project Zomboid (longish)
Nope still crashing. Honestly have a feeling it might be the custom super soldier class and/or some of the mods it requires. Which would suck because this one's been wanting to do like an old-school text based let's play of it. And it actually started with this run, but it stopped after the first day and now the game and steam both crash when trying to load it to check some stuff :<
Gonna start fresh with the mods and just add a handful of towns between Rosewood and Louisville. If that's stable it'll add the class back. If that turns out to be the issue it'll just have to find another way to make a super soldier character because it has screenshots and 3.3k characters typed up for the let's play/ blog thingy. It's kinda committed nya.
It's also just a really fun way to play. Eventually, this one will do a more vanilla-style hardcore survival playthrough, but it's not looking for that now. The more aggressive action-y style is perfect. Still gotta be cautious and a single zombie can still surprise it and end the run, but it also gets to be on the offensive from the beginning, going wild with a machete and twelve boxes of shotgun shells. Tactically wild, but still.

Pulled a big ass horde trying to secure an inn to use as a base and not only did the game crash, but apparently steam did too lmfao. Cut down to 89 mods in total, disabled a lot of now-unused tile packs, and also disabled a couple of potentially conflicting maps. Wouldn't think additional areas would impact more than load times but who knows. It was kind of a silly amount and there were a lot of extra tile packs and stuff included.
